Good neighbors make Winkler a better place to live. Whether it’s lending a helping hand, checking in, or simply being welcoming, these everyday acts of kindness matter. During the month of May, residents are invited to nominate someone who makes a positive difference in their neighborhood.

Residents can nominate a resident (non-family member) using the form below. The deadline for nominations is May 20, 2026.

The selected residents will receive a thank you card signed by city council, as well as a $25 gift card from a local business.

The number of nominations will be limited to 10.

A good neighbour is someone who might:

• check on a neighbour in need
• keep their property looking nice
• shovel snow for a neighbour
• organize community get-togethers
• act neighbourly in other ways
